Sunday: 10:30 – 4:15pm

Ashton Hall Garden Centre

Hello to all of our customers,

We hope that you have enjoyed  your visits to the garden centre and cafe since our reopening – it is good to get back to a little bit of normality – even if things are still a bit odd. Anyway, this is just a quick update to let you know that we are taking part in the Government ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme. You do not need to book, just turn up.

Come join us at the Pear Tree on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August for up to £10 discount per person! We have a range of socially distanced tables both inside and out.
It’s a brilliant way to support your local community and independent businesses whilst having 50% off your bill!
We are open 10-4pm through the week on all of the relevant days, so there’s plenty of time to visit!
*Kitchen closes at 2:30pm (but you can still get drinks and cake – yum!)
*Last drinks orders at 3:45pm
*Takeout food and drink is not discounted.

At busy times you may need to queue (they do say patience is a virtue!) and  you’ll be happy to know that safety is our first priority.

Please remember to wear a face-covering when entering the shop, even if you are just heading to the cafe (unless you are medically exempt). Thank you in advance for this, we understand they aren’t the most comfortable things to wear!

Thank you & see you soon!

THE PEAR TREE CAFE IS BACK! (and yes that includes SCONES – hallelujah!)
We are delighted to announce that our Pear Tree Cafe is reopening to our customers from 10am on Monday 6th July!
It’s lovely to get back to a bit of normality, but things will be slightly different, so here’s a little bit about what you can expect:
Menu
Initially, we will run with a simplified (but yummy!) menu. This will include; hot drinks, cakes, scones (yay!) and light meals such as, soup, sandwiches and jacket potatoes. This smaller menu is to aid social distancing in our kitchen, and ensure the safety of our staff while we adapt. Although the menu will be smaller, it’ll still be made with those high quality, local ingredients that we all know and love!
Once we have settled back in, we will extend our menu. We know some of you are missing your favourite dishes so please hold tight. When the time is right we will bring back our full repertoire of freshly cooked, seasonal hot food – after all, it’s always good to have something to look forward to!
Opening Hours and Access:
We are open every day from 10.00am to 4.00pm (except Sunday when the cafe opens at 11:00am-4pm). As before the kitchen is open for cooked meals until 3pm but last orders for coffee and cake are at 3:45pm.
The cafe will look a tiddly bit different, we have arranged more space between tables, a minimum of 2 metres. Nothing too out of the ordinary though!
As before, there is no need to book, just turn up.
We anticipate there may be some queuing at times, but we will try to keep waiting to a minimum – you’ll be happy to know that safety is our first priority.
Don’t worry, we have the same friendly team in the kitchen and front of house ready to welcome you all back! However, as we do welcome our first customers back after so many weeks away (and with a very new system to work with) honestly, we may be a little nervous, so please be patient. We know you’re all very polite and lovely folks so we thank you in advance for your understanding.
Washrooms and Toilet Facilities:
Toilet facilities are available for our cafe customers but are locked, please just ask for the key from the cafe staff. This so we can ensure facilities are kept clean and safe for all. Just ask.

It has been and still is a strange time for us all, but we look forward to welcoming you back to the Pear Tree Cafe

?

Thank you & see you soon!

To all of customers,

We have been very busy this week preparing the garden centre so that we can provide a safe-shopping atmosphere for everybody, when we cautiously reopen the doors to you on Friday 15th May. We ask that you do take note of the word ‘cautiously’.

While we are very happy to be able to provide you with the goods that you need for your garden & home, the safety of our team and customers is our priority, therefore we must stress that this will not be a case of ‘business as usual’. Our cafe will remain closed and some of our products will be restricted until Government Lockdown Restrictions can be further eased.

What you can expect:

There will be a restriction of 20 customers in the shop (including the outdoor areas) at one time. As this is a cautious, partial reopening, we ask that you do not arrange to meet up with friends or family members here so that we can ensure that social distancing is maintained. We encourage shoppers to visit individually to create the safest environment possible. We are definitely looking forward to returning to normality without any limitations, but, alas, we must all wait a little longer!

During busy times you may need to queue a while before entering the shop (they do say patience is a virtue!). Please note that card payment is encouraged and preferred. Toilet facilities are closed to customers. Having spent the week cleaning, rearranging, and, restocking you can expect to find a new way of shopping but with that same friendly Ashton Hall style!

Ordering & Delivery Service:

The ordering & delivery service will resume upon reopening for those who are self-isolating, high risk or vulnerable – there will be high demand for this, but we will always get back to you!

Looking Forward to Seeing You:

We are looking forward to seeing all of your friendly faces again, however, please can you promise not to visit us all at the same time on Friday? We have been here for over 20 years and we will continue to be here for years and years to come, so there’s really no need to rush – we’ll be here!

Thank you & stay safe!
Ashton Hall Garden Centre

Good morning to all of our customers please note at present we are NOT taking any further orders for delivery over the phone or via email as we prepare the shop for a safe reopening. Please await a further statement from ourselves for information about our opening date – we will NOT be open to the public on Wednesday 13th May, but aim to open as soon as we can ensure our premises is both safe for staff and customers.

When we do reopen to the public we will resume the delivery and ordering service via email or phone for those who are self-isolating and vulnerable.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back to the premises. Please follow the Facebook page @ashtonhallgardencentre for the most up to date information.

Thank you,
Ashton Hall Garden Centre

Sadly, but understandably, we must announce that the garden centre, shop, and, cafe are all now closed to the public temporarily following the statement from the government in regards to Coronavirus (24/03/2020).

To all of our amazing customers, staff, and suppliers; be safe, stay at home, and, try to relax. We will see you on the other side and we look forward to welcoming you back after these rather strange times.

Please send any enquiries to info@ashonhallgardencentre.co.uk

Thank you,
